Death, Hermetic Tarot

Theme: "Abstract, complex - beyond comprehension (for the time being)"

Deck: The Hermetic Tarot
Card: Death
"Time. Involuntary change. Transformation."

Heavy cards these days.
But I can clearly feel that major changes are occurring - beyond my current comprehension.
My days feel long, and there's not much I can do but to let things slowly die, and wait for something new to grow from the ashes. It impossible to know what. It's no use digging in soil to ensure there are seeds there - it interrupts the growth. It is equally useless to cut a seed open to "facilitate its growth". Just like an egg must crack from inside when it's ready.
There are no answers available. There are no particular actions to take.
And the rain comes outside my window, for the first time in weeks.

"Endings, change, transformation, transition"
"After a period of pause and reflection with the Hanged Man, the Death card symbolises the end of a major phase or aspect of your life that you realise is no longer serving you"
"You need to transform yourself and clear away the old to bring in the new. Any change should be welcomed as a positive, cleansing, transformational force in your life. The death and clearing away of limiting factors can open the door to a broader, more satisfying experience of life."
"Death teaches you to let go of outworn and outgrown ways of life and to move forward from them. This is a perfect card to break a bad habit or pattern of behaviour."
