Ten of Swords + Death, PoMo + Gilded

Themes: "navigating the future" + "everything has a golden lining"

And the heavy cards pile up!
I'm feeling very anxious about being unable to "navigate the future", due to too many uncertain and unknowable parameters and waiting for others to make decisions and chose paths.
And there's ongoing transformation (death of outworn patterns/thinking), but I have no idea what will grow up instead. Admittedly, I'm struggling with feeling and seeing the golden lining of it all. That is, truly connecting with my deep inner calm and trust in the universe. My head gets in the way!
But I know that everything is as it should, and hopefully my head is about to resign, and accept things as they are - both cards being reversed.

PoMo Tarot: Ten Guns ('Ten of Swords') (R)
"Ten Guns make concrete the paranoia or panic of the screamer"
"In the paintings and prints of Munch, the sky swirl like spilled blood, like oil reflections on murky water. Internal anguish manifests itself in the outward world, convulsing the very air. A landscape - a bridge, a bay, a sky - threatens with all the horrors of nightmare and psychotic hallucination. "Nature is not only what is visible to the eye - it also shows the inner images of the soul - the images on the back sides of the eyes," he once wrote."
Reversed "What doesn't kill me makes me stronger, said Nietzsche."
Gilded Tarot: Death (R)
"The black banner before Death displays the white rose, symbolic of purity; his shield bears a white horse, often associated with strength and the freedom of spirit."
"...heralds the ending of one phase of life to make way for a new one. It represents major change and transformation.
To benefit from change, we need to remain open to it
"...can release us from that which is no longer useful in our lives but that we continue to hang on to, merely because we fear change. In doing so, we deny ourselves new opportunities that await us."
