Wheel + Eight of Wands, Chrysalis + Quantum

Themes: Budding Transformation + The Quantum Realm/Quantum Leap

The Quantum Realm.

"From the perspective of quantum physics, reality is a mysterious, magical place. While on the physical plane of everyday life, time and space predominate and entropy, decay, and aging are the normal course of events, these are not features of quantum reality. The quantum realm is the fountainhead of pure potentiality, giving rise to the raw material of your body, your mind, and the physical universe. The quantum realm is the womb of creation, the invisible world where the visible is designed and assembled." (deepakchopra)

Quantum leaps are a feature of the quantum realm. A quantum leap is the ability to move from one location in space or time to another without having to go through any place or time in between.

"A spiritual approach means that we expand our awareness, even while focusing our attention and intention locally."

"Embracing the spiritual domain, which is the source and goal of all desires in life, creates the possibility for satisfaction, happiness, and fulfillment independent of the inevitably changing situations, circumstances, and people that surround us."

"Viewing your choices from a spiritual perspective means asking the big questions: Who are you? Why are you here? What do you really want? How can you best serve?"

"Shifting your internal reference point from an egocentric being, whose sense of worth depends upon the positions and possessions one has accumulated, to a network of conscious energy, woven from the threads of universal intelligence, has a profound effect on your mind and body." (deepakchopra)

When you identify your unique talents and commit to using them in the service of others, you strengthen your immune system. When you decide that exercising regularly or preparing a balanced meal is an enjoyable experience, you improve your circulatory health and lower your blood pressure. Your perceptions, interpretations, and expectations influence every aspect of your mental and physical health. Shifting your perspective and making new choices provide you with powerful tools to change your life.

This is all tightly connected to "fate" - the theme of The Wheel.

Chrysalis Tarot: Wheel
"Traditional title: The Wheel of Fortune"
"Attribute: Consequence"
"The Wheel emerges from the Tree of Life, reminding you that life resembles a game of chance."
"...involves life cycles of action and consequences."
"In your reading, the Wheel suggests that you've arrives at a critical juncture in the present cycle. The Wheel, Fortuna and aromatic sage wafting from the smudging pot remind you that you control your life through the choices you make.
Quantum Tarot: Eight of Wands - Supernova
"...represents a dramatic rush of energy or an intense level of concentration. How can you make the best most of this power surge?"

Wheel Reversed.
"You have a choice: you can do nothing and hope things will get better, or you can act to improve your situation. See this moment as your opportunity to take control of your destiny and get your life back on track. Changing your destiny starts with accepting responsibility for where you are now."
"The reversed Wheel of Fortune can also reflect resistance to change, particularly if you feel it forced upon you. This card suggests that change has become a source of significant stress, and you may be trying to consciously or subconsciously stop events from running their course."
"On the positive side, the reversed Wheel of Fortune might mean that you are finally breaking a negative cycle that has been present in your life. Perhaps you have realised how your actions have created a repetitive situation and are now ready to break free from the cycle. For some, this may flow naturally following a period of introspection and self-discovery. For others, things may need to hit rock bottom before you are ready to see what is no longer serving you"
Eight of Wands reversed.
"The Eight of Wands reversed suggests that you are charging ahead with an idea or plan, but you need to slow down and consider your next steps before continuing."
"The Eight of Wands reversed can warn that you are resisting change, trying to stop the flow of energy and movement. It will only make things harder, so let go and be in the flow."
"...you now face multiple obstacles in your course. This is incredibly frustrating, and you may be growing increasingly impatient by the day."

"Resistance to change (transformation/leap)" seems to be a common denominator and an appropriate summary. Partly stuck in rut/habit/patterns - spinning around the edge of wheel - having a hard time finding the way back to centre of the wheel, where all is still.
Having a hard time finding the best way to "serve" - sometimes feeling that I don't serve anyone, or (de)serve anything? Feeling like many of my actions are unwelcome, wrong, fall flat to the ground - making me afraid to act - afraid to remain open. Triggering feelings of desperation, emptiness, meaninglessness, worthlessness.

Old feelings that need to be faced, accepted and healed.
Feelings mirroring old outdated beliefs.
I know that.
I know that the feelings don't "speak The Truth" - yet the feelings themselves are true - and they should not be neglected, repressed or dismissed. But embraced.

It's quite energy consuming to face, embrace and sit with all these old painful feelings on the inside, while trying to carry on "chopping wood, carrying water" and face the outside world with a smile and don't habitually react on behalf of the feelings continuously being triggered.
So, so many "fight or flight" triggering feelings to endure.
Many times a day I want to "throw in the towel", give it all up, run away, move, start anew - just get away. Get away from the useless me.

Man, it's uncomfortable!

One day at the time!
